About Whistler Ski Guides
Whistler Ski Guides specializes in one service and one service only - personally customizing backcountry ski tours for our Guests. At Whistler Ski Guides, our goal is quite simple - to provide you with the highest quality, full-service backcountry skiing experience possible! Whether you are a beginner or an extreme skier, on your own or with your family, you can rest assured that we'll take care of every detail of your trip.

Locally owned and operated by ACMG certified Guides, Whistler Ski Guides offers exclusive backcountry Ski Touring trips in the Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton regions. Our Guides are all seasoned locals who know every skiable inch of terrain, and each are proud to be able to find powder when everyone else is skiing bumps. Every Lead Guide with Whistler Ski Guides is certified with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), so you can be assured of safety and professionalism.

Whistler Ski Guides is a division of  Canada West Mountain School, Inc (CWMS). CWMS has offered high quality mountain Guiding and skills training since 1982.

    Owner of Whistler Ski Guides and Canada West Mountain School, Brian first moved to Whistler in 1982, and currently lives down the road in Squamish, BC.

    Jamie has been working in the Guiding and Outdoor Education field for over 20 years. When not skiing or climbing, he spends his time in Squamish with his family and 3 children!

    Rich has been skiing backcountry since he was a kid, and still prefers to get out on the Tele gear and explore some new terrain when he has a chance.
